Who is Lord Badrinath?

Lord Badrinath is a revered form of Lord Vishnu, worshipped at the sacred Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand. It is one of the main Char Dham and also a part of the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage circuit. Lord Badrinath represents protection, compassion, and preservation of the universe.

2. Nar-Narayan Tapasya

The twin sages Nar and Narayan, incarnations of Vishnu, performed penance here to uphold dharma.

3. Adi Shankaracharya

Adi Shankaracharya rediscovered the idol in the Alaknanda River and reinstalled it in the Badrinath temple, reviving pilgrimage traditions.
